This Series "Forest Light" could also be called "Winter forest without snow!" taken locally in late December 2013 and Jan 2014 during a very mild winter. Usually we'd have lots of snow at this time of year!
Taken mainly in our local forest here in Pilsbach. I captured the various ways the light streams into the darker forest and lights up the paths and spaces between the trees, creating a romantic almost fairy tale like atmosphere to the shots.
4 of these photos got high places in successive "Photo of the week" competitions with 2 1st places, a 2nd place and a 3rd place :-)
